Das Reh | Das Reh (Capreolus capreolus) ist die häufigste und zugleich kleinste Hirschart in Europa und gilt als die am weitesten verbreitete Schalenwildart. Es gehört zur Familie der Hirsche (Cervidae) und bildet zusammen mit Elch und Rentier die Gruppe der Trughirsche. Man unterscheidet das Europäische Reh, das Sibirische Reh und das Mandschurische Reh. Die Tiere sind von graziler, schlanker Statur. Ein ausgewachsenes Reh erreicht eine Schulterhöhe von etwa 60 bis 80 Zentimetern und ein Gewicht zwischen 15 und 30 Kilogramm. Das Männchen wird als Rehbock, das Weibchen als Ricke oder Geiß bezeichnet. Die Jungen sind die Kitze. - Realized with Pictrs.com
